What the first draft of my novel looks like
Ever since graduating last year, I have been slowly working on what i’m tentatively calling “my first novel”. Yesterday was a big day for me because I finally finished the first draft. And let me just say, it’s horrible. Absolute crap. But that’s typically to be expected in first drafts. Now comes the fun part, revision. The second draft will be much, much better.
This word cloud is a collection of the most used words in the first draft. Not surprisingly, at least to me, the most frequently used words at the names of my main characters, Dhar (short for Darwin) and Rodney.
