I’m a big fan of the Lemony Snicket Series of Unfortunate Events book series. I think they are fantastic books and will stand out as classics 30 or some odd years from now. Snicket has a new book that just came out called The Composer Is Dead. And while I am hardly the target audience for children’s picture books, I do think that it is worth checking out the next time you find yourself in the childrens section of your local bookstore.

I had actually been pretty much anti-reading this series for the longest time but after watching this I now have the sudden urge to run out and buy the first book. LOL

Since January 2008 I have been using this blog to write about the books i've read and other book related news that I find interesting. I also find pirates interesting so from time to time I may blog about pirates. I see this as killing two birds with one stone.
