Something odd has been happening lately. People have started following my on Twitter. I have a Twitter account (like everyone else does) but I rarely use it because I am not sure what exactly it is used for. Micro-blogging, I am told, is it’s purpose. But really? I know I tend to post relatively short blogs anyway, but do I really need to mirco-blog? I’m going to give it some more thoughts on what to use Twitter for. In the mean time, I was just curious if how my fellow book bloggers feel about Twitter and how do you use it?

There's something about twitter that is just entirely appealing…don't know what it is exactly, but it's become like a whole different side to book blogging…I use it mostly to post about non-book related shtuff.

Do you get the tweets sent to your phone or do you read your friend's tweets online?

I do both…I mostly use my phone though. I have an iphone and there's an application that I downloaded that's basically,well..twitter for the iphone.

I'm too much of a curmudgeon to use Twitter. Maybe I should check it out again. Is there something I'm missing?

I use Twitter for little OT conversations with other bloggers. And to announce blog posts, sometimes. And to state inane things about my life that amuse me. I'm following you now (I'm Alirambles).
